The festival will explore the role of art as a transformer of places, and how neighbourhoods can be encouraged to participate in the creation of these works of art. Parts of the festival will be aimed at young people who, for various reasons, have fallen outside of employment or school, and how living conditions can improve when art and culture is an integral part of everyday life. The festival has invited artists who work with different expressions, and who particularly want to encourage kids, teenagers, and young adults. The art projects are temporary and will be linked to workshops in Tveit, Sogndalen and in the centre of town.
