The rainbow is the most important symbol for those who do not identify with traditional gender roles and identities. With many bleak statistics and disheartening stories, the project Rainbowtown wants to punch through the darkness with joy, light, and positivity. The installation is playful and accessible, and draws people from all walks of life, age groups and interests. Three performances aim to show audiences how they can use Rainbowtown.
Rainbowtown is playful enough to appeal to kids, as well as being inviting and fun for the adults.
